My bro-in-law (BIL) was out-of-town for a business trip so we decided to bring the nephews to a Daddy's Day-out with their Grandpa last Sunday for the Father's Day celebration. 

We first brought them to the Kids Church at Victory Alabang (4F Festival Mall) while we attend the adult English 5pm Service. They are both in their tweens already so medyo payouth na ang mga pogi. It was their first time to attend a Christian service for kids so they are still a bit shy. But I am glad our home church invest on the youth.

Feel like a boss ang dalawa so they get to choose where to have dinner and we ended up at Bonchon located at the ground floor instead of Kenny which hubby and I initially planned.

But as a gift to Dad-in-Law (DIL) we went to see Man of Steel. Actually Hubby drop by Festi as early as 10am that day to buy tickets in advance for the 7pm timeslot. I also decided to pay tribute to Mr. Kent by wearing the colors of Superman. Think Smallville TV Series where Clark always wear a jacket over a shirt with the same color scheme together with my Suelas Beauchamp Prints Stripes.

TRIVIA: We have been eyeing for the name Kal-el since we are a fan of the TV series pero wala pa yung baby boy na blessing ni Lord eh. Hihihi so Happy Father's Day na lang muna sabi ng mga eggcells ko, Hubby!

Tali Beach is actually a high end subdivision located at Nasugbu Batangas, passing by Canyon Cove, Kawayan Cove and Terrazas de Punta Fuego. You can find over the internet houses being rented for 5-digit amount just for an overnight stay but my teammates got lucky that we were invited by a kindhearted family to join them for a weekend stay in their rest house for a very minimal contribution for the food.

The selling point really of this vacation spot is their cliff diving, which I will talk about later in another post but for now. Here I am doing a quick OOTD shots at the cliff with my Suelas Lagarte and Travelus Gogobag. Forgive my wind-dried hairdo =P

To tell you frankly it has been very tricky for me to dress up according to my style since I gained weight due to my hypothyroidism. I am used to being within normal weight range all my life so first things first is learning to adjust to the new pear shape body type. It is still hit and miss as I study what works and what doesn't. But I have to say that 'A' for me for Ae~ffort for trying not looking like a slob. Thanks Lifestyle Channel's What Not To Wear for always reminding me that it is not your size that is causing the problem but rather how you dress up for your size.

Next issue is that not many brands carry sizes for 2XL that fits within my allotted budget. Even if they do, it would be one size smaller or one size bigger for me. So it wasn't easy scouting for items that fits. Thus, patience until you find something you like.

When I saw them in Patty Laurel's old blog a few years ago,  I knew I'm destined to have one! But in some twist of fate, I never got to own a Suelas until January of this year. The first pair was slightly bigger than my feet so I ordered half size smaller the next payday... and the next... and the next. Here is the proof on my growing fondness of this one comfy foldable flats.

I love it so much that I decided that this year I would give it out as birthday gifts to my girlfriends. I am so kilig that I got to share this with the ladies whom I consider as my sisters. They all deserve some sole treat. And I just thank the Lord for the financial provision that He bless me with that I am able to give generously. But moreso, thank you God for giving me women that I could love and share this earthly life -- from being kikay to our growing faith in You. Let us honor you with our friendship. P.S: Nakakatawa yung unang attempt ko to send a pair to the soon-to-be mom, Jamie, last month... Their office receptionist gave it to the wrong person but silver lining to the story: it proved how the Suelas Team together with their courier, Xend, handled it so graciously by sending us a 2nd pair of the same style until we have learned what happened to the first one then we were able to finally return the extra pair.
