Human Nature is best known for their wonder product Sunflower Oil for years now and for having a social responsible philosophy in doing business. I have been a quiet customer in the past but this year I have decided that a change of lifestyle is possible with them because of their growing line of all natural products.
And just recently, they introduced a prestige skin care called the Overnight Elixir. An overnight serum that prides to include 9 ActivOil Nutritives in a 30 mL frosted bottle. It is a blend of soybeans and lavender for exquisite softness; passion fruit and avocado for superior hydration; rosehip, sunflower, elemi, natural vitamin E and lastly rosemary for that timeless radiance.

I don't have a regular "beauty" facial regimen but I wanted to improve my skin as I have noticed a few dark spots already. So after a week of signing up as a dealer, I texted Human Nature - Alabang to order one while it is still in its discounted price.

They delivered to me the next day for free together with some of my minor orders. Shelling out a thousand bucks for someone who is NOT big in beauty products can be quite a splurge. But if you do decide to buy one, I think this would be it!

I had to admit, I rarely do OOTD post here anymore. A lot of fashion blogger do a much better job in it anyway so better to leave that part to them. But it is the beach and it is Boracay no less so cut me some slack for trying (again)... hihihi!

So these are my pegs from Google Search and being plump would not stop me from doing a cute outfits either. Embracing my new body type but off course I am still hoping to be in a better shape once I get hold off this thyroid issue of mine.

What is fun about this outfit which I wore on Day 3 of the trip is that I actually got the ensemble from the ukay-ukay just a few steps away from our apartment!!! Yeap, the cover up which was made in Indonesia and the white board shorts only cost me Php 200 bucks. Sweet deal, right?

I have always wanted a Fedora hat so finally I got to buy one from a Surplus Shop in Festival Mall Alabang which also cost Php 200. By the way, you can also find lots of hats like this in the souvenir shops in Boracay in different colors.

So the whole look is less than Php 500.
More about Boracay here.

Hello, online shoppers!!!

So last week, another Instagram (IG) Seller caught my fancy selling cute laid back tops such as T-shirts, sweaters and likes. It looks like one of those University or Jersey Shirts and this particular color and design I really liked: 'Y' for Yap.

Paid through BPI deposit on a Thu then got my order on Tue morning. Find Le Chic Shoppe in IG.

If you are my Facebook friend and have been to Hong Kong, most probably you have tagged me in one of your photos of a cosmetic retail store that has the pink background with "Sasa" logo.  Surely, I don't mind being tagged. I can't blame you because you won't be able to help yourself since the Sasa store has these cute little branches practically in every street scattered around the shopping areas.

So in my last HK trip, I wanted to buy few trinkets from their shop as my pasalubong (gift from traveling) for the 2 girls in my work team. But I wanted something from "Sasa" line of products so it would have my name in it. Hihihi... Hubby and I did our shopping in Causeway Bay near the Times Square. Going around I saw one of their store that was much different from the rest - the signature pink color was combined with elegant gold background and reads as Sasa Supreme. My initial reaction was 'Why the Supreme?' as in Lucky Me Supreme Noodles I jokingly said. It is a famous instant noodles here in the Philippines.

But as soon as we entered the store, I kinda understood the idea why it was called 'Sasa Supreme' having very spacious aisles that stretches across two storeys of approximately 20,000 square feet. My second thought was 'Mahal ata dito'  (It might be too expensive in here) and worried because I was down to my last 100 HKD since it was already our last day in HK and was about to fly back home that night. But everyone is so friendly greeting us and the place is just quite inviting so I decided to go around while Hubby sat on the couch in the lounge area and connected online through their free wifi since he is already tired from all the walking.

I was able to find something for the girls and one lipstick for myself from Sasatinnie line. While paying in the cashier a very nice lady approached me and asked what I thought about the store. Suprisingly, she is actually the Director of Training and People Development, Mary Suen. Later, one of the branch Supervisor also introduced herself as May Leung.

We chatted for a while and from them I learned that the 'Sasa Supreme' in Leighton Road, Causeway Bay was launched only last August 2013 and actually the very first lifestyle concept store. According to their official press release in their website, not only that it house prestigious beauty brands but the shop in itself is a beauty luxury-leisure hotspot. Just check out the Sasa Supreme sections below:

It is truly a one-stop shop for the women and even men who wants a day of pampering and shopping. Here are some more photos from their website photo gallery.

Many thanks to Ms. Mary and Ms. May for taking time to chat with me. More power to 'Sasa Supreme' and see you again in my next visit!

Hi Lovelies! As promised, it is the first day of December and I am back...Yey!!!

Well, thank you sa 5 kong blog readers na nakamiss sa akin. Hahaha. Anyway, my birthday month just ended but the celebration definitely did not end there. By the time you read this blog post, The Mister and I are celebrating our 16th Anniversary (4th Wedding Anniversary) with our first out of the country trip together. Yes, after all these years of love, respect and togetherness this is our very first INTERNATIONAL escapade together so it is kinda big deal for us.

But not to overwhelm ourselves we decided to go to a tourist friendly neighboring Asian country - Hong Kong - Macau. I did my standard operating procedure in planning trip for two - pray earnestly for financial provision and good deals, save up (self-imposed no credit card policy), await and book for promo fare, coordinate with a trip planner, finalize itinerary and pay amount due. I really thank God for His grace that He not only gives us what we need but also some for leisure.

However, what really kinda set me off my game was preparing for items to wear for the trip considering HK is already entering their cold season. Waaahhh... I have to be honest up to the last minute I was torn from comfie walking shoes or BOOTS! I have to keep in mind that from being sedentary I will be walking for hours and hours which I am not used to nowadays so I have to prepare my feet. But C'mon now, ang sarap kayang mag-OOTD ng nakawinter clothes, try mo sa Pinas yun syempre medyo mukha ka namang ewan di ba? This moment I truly understood the cliche - style over comfort. Babaw ba, hahaha...

Just look at this really nice pair of suede ankle boots I found at Zalora Philippines...So Fab talaga!

Zalora PH even displays images of the product in different angles - top, bottom and sides: so, so cute. I am starting to covet it... Ehem! Christmas is just around the corner, any body who missed out giving me a birthday gift can surely make it up with this one.

Kidding aside, I have to say Zalora Philippines is opening up new ways for shoppers to complete their shopping list with less hassle. Just check out their latest offering dubbed as Online Revolution wherein you no longer need to brave the traffic and find a parking spot at a crowded mall during this holiday season.

All you need is go to their website and register then these amazing bargains are already available to you. Will definitely try it out myself when I get back from the trip since this is available until Dec 11.

Back when hubby and I was just going out in college with very little allowance, our first couple ring is Silverworks. We wore it until we finally got married and the brand holds dear to us so when we passed by its kiosk at the mall we decided to check out their latest design.

So after browsing through their array of rings ranging from Php 200 and up. The brown-silver combination caught our fancy and we pointed it to Michelle, the Silverworks attendant assisting us in our purchase. She explained that it actually has some health benefits.

So finally we decided to get this design which is Php 1,250 each but if you are interested to get a slightly pricier couples band, they also have the Chemistry Collection which uses Tungsten and 0.1 carat diamonds for Php 3K each.

Went to Metro Department Store at Alabang Town Center just this Saturday to pick up a mid-range priced flip flops for our out of town getaway to the beach. So I found my way in the isle of slippers with an array of different colorful designs to choose from.

www.bananapeel.net

Being affordable in price, I decided to pick up from the trustee Banana Peel brand and got the most expensive I could find from the pile which is the Vivace red and white polka dots with rainbow straps which costs Php 300.00++. But to my surprise at the counter, it was actually on 70% S-A-L-E and I only paid for Php 99.00. Woot, woot! Talk about right timing, huh?

I am loving the updates in material that the brand has been doing to improve their product. So this is already my 4th and 5th pair of Posh Pocket Shoes this year alone. I prefer the pointy styles lately so I hope they would come up with more designs.

So last week, when I got my orders from the mail, I mixed and match for my outfit of the day. Here are some of it.

Here is my very relaxed weekender OOTD (Outfit of the Day). Printed on my shirt is verses from the Bible:

Love is patient, love is kind. It does not envy, it does not boast, it is not proud. It does not dishonor others, it is not self-seeking, it is not easily angered, it keeps no record of wrongs. Love does not delight in evil but rejoices with the truth. It always protects, always trusts, always hopes, always perseveres. Love never fails.

Shirt by SML Boutique. Flats by Posh Pocket Shoes Online
and cheapo denim shorts + scarf

I bought it online from IG seller @SMLBoutiquePH. Current shirt price is around Php 200-250. I actually bought 4 shirts from them -- 2 for me and 2 for hubby. Unfortunately, the size 2XL is the largest size they have so naging body fit kay hubby. Hopefully, now that he is biking again... it will eventually fit him.

As for the seller, they are quick to send info regarding getting orders but not so responsive when sending status of the orders. They use Yalex brand for the shirts they sent us but I hope they will have further options ng better quality kahit different price range.

The thing I like is maganda yung designs, quality of the print even the color combinations because it differs depending on the color of the shirt they used. So I am guessing they have a good artist. Great gift idea to Christian friends na hindi super mahal.

I asked permission from hubby if I could shop a little while waiting for him while he attends the first meeting of his church small group. So last weekend, I went around Robinson's Department Store in Festival Mall Alabang to look for a new pair of jeans. Since it was a weekend, I am wearing my go-to jeans from Jag.

facebook.com/jagjeans

Early that day while trying to find a parking space for almost 30 minutes, we realized it was actually a weekend sale thus the difficulty in finding a free spot. So I decided that my shopping should be purposeful and strategic. Hence, I went straight to the Jag booth without batting an eyelash, choose my size and fit it ad hoc fitting cube next to their stall (I really don't want to line up in the fitting room). It has no special price tag whatsoever so I assumed I will be paying the regular price.

But surprisingly, the assisting sales lady got a 20% price tag sticker and when I asked why, she said since I was already wearing Jag, I get a discount for my new pair because of the 2013 Denim Show-Off Promo. Yay! Bad news is it was already last day of the promo period but I do hope some of you were able to avail it.

Just bought our 2nd Aquazorb Body Towel at their kiosk at SM Mall of Asia (MOA).

Aquazorb towels are made from ultra-soft high density knit fabric, specially engineered to absorb water from hair and skin instantly. Soaks water on contact. This super soft fabric has a unique hydrophilic capillary action that draws water faster, more thoroughly and gently, than cotton towels. Absorbing up to 5 times its weight while still drying quickly. Designed to be lightweight, compact and durable. Aquazorb towels are ideal for everyday use at home, at the gym and while traveling.

Being with Jase for 12 years before finally getting married, I can totally relate to Showbiz Couple Iya and Drew for their almost decade of relationship. It maybe for a shampoo ad but their feelings for each other transcends on the screen.

Hubby's wallet had already worn out after two years of daily usage so one day he came home with a new one. I actually chuckled because it looks almost the same as the old one. It was a McJim Classic Leather Wallet.

Available at Robinson's Department Store

So while he was transferring all the contents from the old wallet, I picked out the $1,000 play money that came with the new wallet and to my (pleasant) surprise, I found these bible verses printed at the back.

Now, that's what I call the wallet that could save your life. It comes with bible verses that leads you to salvation by accepting Christ Jesus!

Oh yeah... it is another girly buy for me. After drooling over their products for over a year now I finally hit that purchase button in the Fab Manila Bags website.

From their Behind the Brand Page: FABMANILA’s goal is to constantly innovate and create unique, functional pieces that are still affordable to their target niche market. Most products range from P200-500 (wallets, travel items and organizers), P500-800 (bags) and P1,000 (big overnighters).

Inspired by the increasing demand for their products, FABMANILA opened its very first store in Robinsons Galleria in October 2012. Their second store was launched last March 2013 in Powerplant Mall. Other retail outlets include The Ramp Crossings in Trinoma and Hoola in Alabang Town Center.

Darla Media Pouch

It's so kikay for my own good that I like 'em so much! The girlaloo in me continue to pop up once in a while.

I am usually a size 7'5" but when I ordered my first Posh Pocket Shoes, they advised me to get 8" for the Pointy Leopard. But it was still quite a snug even if I have already worn it a number times.

So when they restocked my much awaited Pointy Green I got 8'5" and it fits me better. Yay!

Oh, did I forget to mention that I also ordered Basic Tan to go with it? Hihihi...

From their website: Poshie fold up to almost the size of a camera and come with an innovative wristlet pouch that transforms into a tote bag when you need to make the switch. They are so compact they can fit your pockets and most of your evening purses (or even your partner’s pocket!).

Can you see my insect bite there?
