Our reliable Brother Printer has finally reached the end of its service. I think more than 5 years is quite a feat for this printer to last. It has served its purpose well and even helped us out to print some of our wedding items few years back. So with that kind of performance, we decided our loyalty remains with Brother Printer and our investment is worth every penny.

Last weekend, we swung by Octagon Computer Superstore at Festival Mall and inquired about their latest model.  Good thing, the store attendant Renante was very patient in all our inquiries and happily assisted us in choosing from their line of products.

Little did we know about this promo and was surprise to get a voucher after paying at the cashier. We were entitled to a Jollibee bucket meal which includes 6 pcs Chicken Joy, 3 rice, 3 softdrinks and 3 Regular Yum. It was an added bonus that we decided to give Renante his share in our freebie after claiming it at the branch right across the store.

Due to my thyroid problem, I often have body aches and muscle pain. Aside from taking my prescribed oral medication, I found that getting massages relaxes me and soothes the pain. So for the past few months now, I have been going to Beauty Pleasures Nail Care and Day Spa located at the 3rd Floor of Festival Mall Alabang Muntinlupa City. Their location is perfect, just right beside the escalator going up. It is sandwiched between the floors of Starbucks and Victory Christian Fellowship Alabang (VCF).

I already availed several services such as Swedish  Body Massage, Body Scrub and Foot Reflex. My usually shy hubby even tried their back massage and he really like it. Unfortunately, due to the limited space they do not have a couples room so we often get treatments on separate rooms.

Often, spa centers would play instrumental music but in our first visit I was surprised to hear that they were playing Christian instrumental music and according to one of the therapist it is because one of the owners is actually a Christian.

Gratefully, when we at Victory Alabang celebrated our church 15th Anniversary they gave out a privilege card that can be used for several establishment. I was happy to find a Beauty Pleasures Spa coupon which entitles me to a discount when I register to become a member. I wasted no time in using it and was able to avail big discount during my birthday month last November.

Hope you will also enjoy your visits with them and don't forget to be generous with the attendants when tipping. Have a relaxing time!

Hubby was dropping hints that he wanted to buy a guitar for himself but considering that he just recently bought a mountain bike, he is still weighing in if he should buy one. But while channel surfing 2 weeks ago, I saw the RJ Guitar Center 1-Day Christmas Sale on Dec 7, 2013.

So, I thought it would be a great 16th (4th Wedding) Anniversary gift for him and we will be back from our HK-Macau trip by then. A day after of our actual anniversary, we checked out the RJ Guitar Center in Festival Mall Alabang right after my dentist appointment around 12nn, there were no customers yet for the 30% off deal. Hubby eyed for a couple of guitar designs and later when 6 o'clock pm came, he lined up like the rest of the customer and came home with his first choice with 50% off discount.

My bro-in-law (BIL) was out-of-town for a business trip so we decided to bring the nephews to a Daddy's Day-out with their Grandpa last Sunday for the Father's Day celebration.

We first brought them to the Kids Church at Victory Alabang (4F Festival Mall) while we attend the adult English 5pm Service. They are both in their tweens already so medyo payouth na ang mga pogi. It was their first time to attend a Christian service for kids so they are still a bit shy. But I am glad our home church invest on the youth.

Feel like a boss ang dalawa so they get to choose where to have dinner and we ended up at Bonchon located at the ground floor instead of Kenny which hubby and I initially planned.

But as a gift to Dad-in-Law (DIL) we went to see Man of Steel. Actually Hubby drop by Festi as early as 10am that day to buy tickets in advance for the 7pm timeslot. I also decided to pay tribute to Mr. Kent by wearing the colors of Superman. Think Smallville TV Series where Clark always wear a jacket over a shirt with the same color scheme together with my Suelas Beauchamp Prints Stripes.

The 10am crowd lining up for tickets already

TRIVIA: We have been eyeing for the name Kal-el since we are a fan of the TV series pero wala pa yung baby boy na blessing ni Lord eh. Hihihi so Happy Father's Day na lang muna sabi ng mga eggcells ko, Hubby!

It is only less than a month since it opened its branch at Festival Mall but already it is attracting a decent number of mall goers to try out their brick-oven offerings.

So right after attending our Worship Night service at Victory Alabang which is just at the 4th Floor of Festi, hubby treated me to dinner to have a mini celebration since it is our 186th monthsary - 15 years and a half!

For tonight, we decided to try out the Uncle Cheffy Platter's Surf Turf which is an assortment of fishes, pork, beef, chicken and ribs. It already comes with side salad and a bowl of rice. The serving is already good for 2-3 persons. The platter also include 6 different sauces -- 3 for the fishes and 3 for the meat.

Although I love to dine, I am no foodie so I will leave the food review up to you. But if you are veering away from the usual fast food dining at the mall, head to their place located just a few steps away from the 3F Commerce Exit at Festival Mall.

All it had to take is just a little convincing, hubby and I found ourselves at the door of The Balinese Spa. The ambiance is quite inviting for the two of us who need the time off. But he is a bit shy though to take off his clothes *hihihi* so he opted for a foot spa instead while I availed the Signature Full Body Massage. I was glad that the masseurs still ushered us to a couple's room despite availing different treatments.

For a solid good one hour, we enjoyed the kneading of a professional. The Signature Full Body Massage is a combination of Shiatsu and Swedish Massage. It is relaxing without hurting your budget.
