Snorkeling at Coco Beach Puerto Galera

No comments:

Hubby said the pictures from our last island getaway is not yet ready so let me skipped over for now and go straight to our second day at the Coco Beach Resort, they offered a free boat ride to Haligi Island. But there is nothing much to see there although small boats (habal-habal) are waiting to bring the guests to snorkeling spot nearby. The standard rate for the first activity cost Php 300/pax then succeeding activity is additional Php 200/pax. But there is no harm in trying to haggle. We opted for snorkeling to see the corals and the giant clam. Our boatman was nice enough to throw in some fish feeds into the water so the fishes started swimming right in front of us.

I just kept on shooting underwater and was actually to surprise to see the clear pictures and the array of corals I was able to caught with my GE DV1 Camera.

Activate Titanium by Silverworks Jewelry

No comments:

Back when hubby and I was just going out in college with very little allowance, our first couple ring is Silverworks. We wore it until we finally got married and the brand holds dear to us so when we passed by its kiosk at the mall we decided to check out their latest design.

So after browsing through their array of rings ranging from Php 200 and up. The brown-silver combination caught our fancy and we pointed it to Michelle, the Silverworks attendant assisting us in our purchase. She explained that it actually has some health benefits.

So finally we decided to get this design which is Php 1,250 each but if you are interested to get a slightly pricier couples band, they also have the Chemistry Collection which uses Tungsten and 0.1 carat diamonds for Php 3K each.

Affordable Japanese Authentic Ramen

No comments:

Right after doing some little shopping at the department store in Alabang Town Center, we exited at the 3rd floor going to the New Garden Wing and right there was the Ramen X Restaurant so we decided to give it a try to have a break from our usual goto fastfood meals.

At first, hubby was worried that it would be pricey considering we are just looking for a light dinner but when we saw the menu is actually easy in the pocket, he finally ordered. I tried the Katsudon Rice Bowl while he ordered the Ramen Noodles which were less than Php 200 per serving. We also ordered Milk Tea for Php 60 per cup. Masarap naman!

They have a small menu but their serving is big... For comparison below is a picture of a regular rice bowl versus the SX2 Ramen Bowl (also available in SX1).

Hubby said that they are playing some anime music and he just quite blends in as he was wearing his Tokyo T-shirt. Here is a more detailed pictures of the restaurant interiors grabbed from their Facebook Page.

Big Discount on Banana Peel Flip flops

No comments:

Went to Metro Department Store at Alabang Town Center just this Saturday to pick up a mid-range priced flip flops for our out of town getaway to the beach. So I found my way in the isle of slippers with an array of different colorful designs to choose from.

www.bananapeel.net

Being affordable in price, I decided to pick up from the trustee Banana Peel brand and got the most expensive I could find from the pile which is the Vivace red and white polka dots with rainbow straps which costs Php 300.00++. But to my surprise at the counter, it was actually on 70% S-A-L-E and I only paid for Php 99.00. Woot, woot! Talk about right timing, huh?

#OOTDs with Posh Pocket Shoes

No comments:

I am loving the updates in material that the brand has been doing to improve their product. So this is already my 4th and 5th pair of Posh Pocket Shoes this year alone. I prefer the pointy styles lately so I hope they would come up with more designs.

So last week, when I got my orders from the mail, I mixed and match for my outfit of the day. Here are some of it.

Booking For Coco Beach Resort

No comments:

I heard about Coco Beach Island Resort in Puerto Galera a few years back from my former project manager who highly recommends it. I tried planning a trip there before but it did not push through. But since we were not able score any deals to Boracay for this year and I am dying to have an island vacation before hubby and I voyage to our first international flight together, I asked permission from him if we could have a quick getaway to celebrate my upcoming birthday in advance. Thankfully, he gave it a go!

After a few searches, I chance upon the tour package offered by ETA Travel and Tour in Ayosdito.ph. Initially, it includes round trip from Manila to Batangas Port via van in designated pick up points, round trip boat ride from Batangas to Puerto Galera and De Luxe accommodation to Coco Beach. But after few email exhanges, we decided that we will go to Batangas Port on our own since we are already half way here in Alabang and so they gave us rates for 3D2N Php 3,795.00/person in the month of October 2013.

Coco Beach has several De Luxe type of rooms depending on the size. I requested for our Reservation Officer to book us to Super Banana De Luxe room however this is still subject to availability. Their policy is to pay the amount due in full so I deposited to their BDO Bank Account and received my voucher with confirmation number.

I then called up Coco Beach Manila office to verify our booking details done by ETA and I was glad to hear that all agreed details were noted in our reservation. With that, I am giving ETA two thumbs up especially to:

The Spa Greenbelt: Spa Reflexology

No comments:

I was gone from the office for almost two weeks, I had another episode of my thyroid problem. So imagine my teammates barely breathing during those days to take on my workload. True enough, I got some cheering when I finally reported back to work. My heart melted after reviewing all the issues they handled while I was away so I decided that it is worth a splurge to treat them somehow. But instead of dining out, I thought it would be better to treat them for a much needed massage.

www.thespa.com.ph

I am reporting in the Alabang office branch while they are in Makati branch so I decided that since it is their day off anyway, I will meet them up in Makati. I checked out several options but the best arrangement was with no less than The Spa in Greenbelt 1 Paseo de Roxas Makati.

I made a reservation a day before our planned date and chose the cheapest whole body massage I could afford since I will be paying for the three of us -- The Spa Reflexology for Php 600 each.

I came in just a few minutes before our appointment and immediately paid my dues. However, my teammates had to finished up something before leaving the office so The Spa staff kept on checking with me where were companions. They are really strict when it comes to time but finally the girls made it before our grace period lapsed.

It was my first time to try out The Spa because I am a bit intimated because of their very posh ambiance but however I realized that once in a while you need to enjoy such things. The one in GB1 is Asian-themed and got this hotel feel. It is quite luxurious to look at even if it is in a smaller space comparing to their Alabang and The Fort branch. Funny thing is that I got lost in the female room when I had to use the rest room. The room contains the locker, shower, changing room and common vanity mirrors.

But moreso, the service itself was worth it! We were ushered to a common room that has 4 massaging chairs, LCD TV and relaxing music. It is perfect for sparties with intimate friends. We were still at first chatting but as soon as the therapists started working on each one of us, we shut up, and kept quiet until the end of our session.

Since you do not have to undress for the reflexology, I think my hubby would like it as well. The hot pillow and the cracking my lower back spine, grabeh, I felt my vertebrae aligning. This is highly recommended for hardworking people like us!

Several Photos are from their official website:
