Between hubby and I, I am the designated events organizer. So I was tasked to plan this trip...
We were suppose to go to Bohol a couple of months after the wedding for Jase's 29th Birthday last February but we were still settling in our apartment and busy with our new life together so we had to postpone it.
But since then, I've been visiting Cebu Pacific website for possible seat promo. Come P-Noy's Inauguration Day last June 30 they had a 2-day Zero Fare Promo so I wasted no time to book for seats. Our roundtrip flight for 2 cost us less than a thousand bucks! Mas mahal pa yung bus trip namin sa Baguio before. The travel flight during the seat sale was for Sep to Nov, since we both wanted this trip extra special we scheduled it on my 29th birthday! We have a no-credit policy between us so I paid our online booking via BDO the next day. The flight reservation only last for 24-hours.
Next, I emailed a number of travel agencies to study our options for the land arrangement. Most of them gave us an array of packages. This was sort of our out of town honeymoon so we didn't want to have our days packed with much tiring activities so we opted for just a countryside tour. Green Earth Tours and Travel offered the most sensible package that appealed to our budget.
Ms. Khristinne Araneta of Team Green Earth was very much accommodating with my inquiries and very professional, if I might add. She was the one who suggested to have our countryside tour done in Day 1 upon arrival to Bohol since our flight schedule is 8-9ish a.m. and check-in is not until 12nn. This would free up our Day 2 to enjoy the beach or go dolphin watching or what-have-yous. See below itinerary for the package inclusion.
I confirmed our arrangement by giving the 50% downpayment on September then the rest of the balance on October. Both paid through depositing to their BPI Account. As proof, I emailed our scanned deposit slip and in return I received my PDF receipts and vouchers. We exchanged mobile numbers and a week before the trip, Khristinne already texted me the name/number of our licensed tour guide, Karen Lumayag, who will pick us from Tagbilaran Airport.
I tell you it was a no-fuss trip! We got our money's worth and we enjoyed every cent of it. Thanks much to Cebupac + Green Earth Tours for a wonderful experience!!! Of course, we always included these transactions in our prayers that it will be all smooth and we are transacting with good people. Syempre di mo pa din naman maiiwasan na baka nanggogoyo lang yung iba since online yung mga transactions. That is just a simple reminder to be a bit cautious still. By the way, our package for 2 pax cost less than 10K. I'll be writing another blog for our actual trip and other contact details.

It is Jase 29th birthday and his first time to celebrate as a married man. We went to Josephine's Water Camp at Panamitan to spend the day... honeymoon stage pa rin kse.
