As early as September I already found in a group buying site what I wanted to have for my birthday. Technically, it will become a conjugal property. But for the sake of argument and the guilt-free feeling of buying yet another gadget this year, let us just say it is a super advance gift for the birthday girl -- ME! Hahaha.

Anyhow, pick-up schedule for the pre-ordered item is this week and I am sooo looking forward to it. Initially, hubby is toying around the idea of buying a video camera but I reasoned with him that our digicams' video features works just fine for our current needs. What we probably would want to look into is a waterproof or underwater camera for that wet and under the sea moments. This is also in preparation to our trip soon where snorkeling is a must activity. I reminded him our experience in Puerto Princesa trip last year where we only got very few underwater shots (rented only a pouch to put our digicam) which did not do any justice to the beauty God created under the sea. In short, I was able to convince him. Thank you Lord for a loving husband and for your thoughtful provision, I was able to click the BUY button before the offer ended.

Discounted GE Underwater Cameras

But I had to look for reviews first - from the unboxing to underwater pool to ocean shots found in Youtube. I liked what I saw so I proceeded with the transaction. As I oftenly mentioned here, we don't own any credit card so I paid via ATM online transaction and shortly received my confirmation voucher. Below are some of the details regarding the deal:

Always read the FINE PRINT
Which color should I choose?

Greatest commandment in claiming orders: Thou shall print and bring the hardcopy of thy voucher (the one with the bar code) when picking up thy ordered item from this group buying site. Regardless if your voucher is accessible from your internet-connected smartphone, it will not be honored. Learn from my mistake, ok? Medyo kainis this part, but never mind. Let us move on to the happy part -- the unboxing and testing of my new toy.

DISCLAIMER: I am not selling this item. I am simply writing to share my experience transacting with Filters Exchange via online orders. If you are interested to purchase the product, the link below will bring you to their online store.

I was looking for a waterproof dry bag for our upcoming water adventures. I was hoping to keep our DSLR camera and change clothes dry during the activities. But unfortunately, the price for this item ranges from Php 1,000 to 2,000 depending on the size until I came upon Filters Exchange Online Shop through Google which offers it half the price.

I texted very early in the morning just today to place an order of the Small Size Waterproof Dry Bag 8L. I also noted that the delivery should be not earlier than 2pm in my office address. Their team replied that I could expect the delivery within the day. *Smiles* That was quick!

Their ad claims that the product is as such:

Come noon, I received a text from their delivery guy (DG) confirming if I am already in the office. Shortly, he courteously informed me that he couldn't find a parking slot so asked if I could just meet him outside the building instead. I asked Kuya DG, the in-house messenger, about the product and about his itinerary for the day. After inspecting the item, I gave him the payment then signed his receiving form. Job well done Kuya DG and ingat while you deliver riding your motorcycle, always wear your helmet!

All in all, this online transaction is a success. Website is complete - product info, contact info, service terms and conditions so read first. Filters Exchange team is responsive to inquiry and is quick to process orders (I suppose if the item is on hand). Issues receipt since they have a physical shop in Mandaluyong.

Successful and fast transaction

Product Testing

The 8L capacity or the small size are just really meant for small items. I was only able to fit 1 regular bathroom towel into it. Here is the actual item I received. Notice that there is no print on it compared to the one in their ad.

Actual photo of the item delivered

Next part, I got a pail of water then submerged the bag containing a bathroom towel for less than a minute. The opening of the bag do not seal as tightly so it opened thus enter the water. See the encircled portion wherein the towel got wet.

So my verdict, use it to protect your things from watersplashes or perhaps from the rain. But you can't count on it to keep your belongings dry in case your bag falls underwater.

I just realized that I incorrectly closed the bag and performed a 2nd test...it was successful! No instruction came in with the bag so sorry about that. So this is how the bag should be closed.

Sequence 3-2-1
That concludes this review. If you have tried out other brands and recommends it, feel free to comment below.

A few months ago, I read a post by Ms. Thammie, wife to Victory Greenhills Pastor Dennis Sy, about a jelly-styled sandals that fits perfectly for her needs now that she is pregnant. I, on the other hand, have been looking out for a footwear that I'm thinking of using on the beach sands of our upcoming trip to Coron. But I find thong slippers in different stores to be too pricey considering that they just simply looks like everyday tsinelas regardless of the brand name.

I pass by the Jelly Bunny Kiosk near the Activity Center of Market Market everyday but today a certain design caught the corner of my eye. I tried it out and scrutinize the make. Hmm...looks like it will work just fine in wet places. The attendant even engaged me in a smalltalk that their price are reasonable compared to another store that is selling the same brand. Kse I was trying to haggle from the Php 599.00 price tag. Who knows baka may discount, di ba? But it was one of their new arrivals kaya ayun walang tawad tawad.

So I will be trying them out one of these days and will get back to you in terms of comfort, durability and in short if you will get your money's worth. But if you are already a patron of this candy-colored and jelly-looking footwear, feel free to post your experience in the comments section. I would love to read about it!

Lets try this baby, shall we?

My first pair of Jelly Bunny

I got the black one instead of a colored one for easy mix and match. But if you want a pop of color in your attire go ahead and be adventurous from the array of colors available.

From their FB: Jelly Bunny shoes are designed in Brazil and manufactured in Thailand. Currently, we have stores in Thailand, Malaysia, and the Philippines (Market! Market! Taguig).

So I missed out on the latest Aga ♥ Regine movie 'Of All the Things'. So instead of fretting about it...I filled up my SG Note with some Tagalog Rom-Com (Romantic Comedy) Movies.

But before any of you conyos could pass any judgement on my taste of movies please bear in mind how stressful our daily grind can be and somehow lately I noticed that Tagalog movies help me wind down. Feeling ko kasalanan ng Skycable Cinema One to eh...wala na kse kaming Star Movies.

Ms. Regine as Luisa or Isay eating isaw

So anyhow, here is currently on my video playlist:
1. Pangako Ikaw Lang - Regine, Aga
2. When The Love Begins - Aga, Anne
3. Pangarap Ko ay Ibigin Ka - Regine, Boyet
4. Kailangan Ko'y Ikaw - Regine, Robin
5. Till I Met You - Regine, Robin

But to cap off my weekend, I changed gear to What's Your Number starring Anna Faris ♥ Chris Evans.
