In IG, I already shared that just recently I have redeemed our accumulated Globe points to watch a movie for 2 ... in 3D! Yeap, folks Hubby and I got treated to a free movie screening of Captain America in Alabang Town Center last March just because we have our Globe Rewards points.

Well with vast line up of coming soon movies this year then this is something you want to download into your smartphones -- The GMovies App! Available in Google Play or App Store for FREE, it is the ultimate pocket app for Globe loyals and movie goers just me-self.

I don't exactly remember if it was the first movie I saw in the movie theather but it was definitely the first movie I could remember that I saw back in the 80s.

Staring Maricel Soriano and Aiza Seguerra, a comedy family movie entitled Super Inday and the Golden Bibe. Di pa ko masyadong nakakapag English nun kaya bentang-benta sa akin ang mga kembot ni Maria and of course ang duck walk ni Aiza.

In my pre-teens, Tatay accompanied me to watch Casper in Harrison Plaza. Come to think of it, it was a perfect father-daughter movie date featuring Bill Pullman and Christina Ricci.

Truthfully, I held my breath at the end of the movie when Casper started descending from the stairs in his human form played by Devon Sawa. I just died there at the theater!!!

Lastly, this one nailed it and made me into a movie lover -- a combination of action and a love story with a thrilling plot line starring Keanu Reeves and Sandra Bullock. Speed! It wasn't just a hit but it also started a trend in Hollywood and made the actors as the stars that they are now today.

Here ye! Here ye!!! Get free movie tickets for you and a friend. Just make a comment in this post below by answering the question
"What made you fall in love with watching movies?"

The kids nowadays are so techie, I have nieces and nephews (ages 5-12) who have their very own tablets and smartphones EACH. This kind of power in technology at tip of their "little" fingertips should be harness for good. So how about downloading an app called JoomaJam!
JoomaJam is a smartphone app that contains animated songs sung by some of our famous OPM artists, teacher-tested and approved lessons and stimulating activities that can be performed both on and offline.
If you calculate it the parents who have pre-schoolers by now are those who probably grew up in the height of  OPM 90s band so you will definitely like the artist line up in this app because the artist are mostly parents themselves already as well.

Since I am mostly interested in finance nowadays -- saving up and building my investment portfolio, the first thing I played was the lesson about saving money. Also, it was the least topic being discussed back when we were young. I mean we were taught about identifying money (coins, bills) and how to spend it but not too much on the saving part.

I first played the Sing-a-long English track and oh boy the rock music started playing hahaha. Despite the pre-school theme and lesson, when you reach the bridge and Jet Pangan started singing "Oh yeah! Whoa!" you will definitely get to hear the signature sound of The Dawn which we all love to jam to. So you are hitting two birds in one stone -- teaching your kid how to save and appreciating your music influences.

I also played the Filipino track or the Tagalog version which I liked more. Calling it alkansya vs. piggy bank made a lot more sense. Teaching kids that it doesn't have to be a piggy bank really -- it could be a box or a jar, anything you can put your coins or money that you can later use for the rainy days. Then you can also browse through the rest of the menus like the lesson guide and JoomaJam activities.

Will definitely keep your bonding times with the kids lively and fun. So start downloading this app so more lessons can be added as we show support to the group behind it. Let us take pride that it is being developed by fellow Pinoys!

I first read about The Burger Project a couple of years ago thru my fave celebrity blogger, Patty and it is owned by her BFF Alessa. Kaya lang their branches are out of the way so I have yet to try it until...

My boss tried it out with his family and swear by it. So when all members of our team reported to the Makati office, we went out to their branch in Jupiter St. Bel-Air Makati to have lunch. But I saved half of mine to bring home to hubby and as expected he liked it as well so I week later, hubby and I tried it out together.

The concept of this burger joint is that it allows the customer to create their own burger. You are a given a checklist of the available ingredients and you get to choose what goes into your burger from top to bottom and you get to name your creation. I think this will work out well with Sheldon Cooper of the Big Bang Theory.

It was already a bid tad late so naturally we are already hungry that when we were given the list, hubby and I tick off our choices separately without talking to each other about our choices. He named his burger as HBB: High Blood Burger while I named mine as Destressing Burger. But when our orders came we were surprised that we crossed out the same ingredients except for the type of bun -- Beef pattie, bacon, lettuce, pineapple with special BRGR sauce.

The mozarella sticks are also a nice appetizer. I also ordered the Choco Milkshake served chill in a huge glass. It is a go-to place when your craving for some comfort food or starving to death because of the generous servings.

Oh, one thing more...the security guard provides superb service, assisting the patrons when parking.
I was hubby's plus one last May 24, 2014 for the Chevrolet Club Philippines EB (Eye Ball). The destination was our hometown -- Kawit, Cavite. It was set at Antel Grand Village Clubhouse, 2 kms away from our parents house.

Antel Village is one of the high end subdivision located between the boundaries of Kawit - Gen. Trias Cavite. To be able to use the clubhouse facility, you need an invitation coming from a lot owner within the village to serve as your contact. You also need to pay to use it and below are the rates:

Lot Owners: Php 75 and 70 for kids below 3ft.
Guests: Php 250 and 150 for kids below 3ft
Gazebo Rentals: around Php 1500 depending on the size

Some rules you need to abide with aside:
- No Alcoholic drinks
- No glass container
- No casserole/rice cooker
- No grilling so bring cooked food
- Put your baon on plastic containers otherwise you will leave it at the entrance guard

Despite the proximity to our parent's home, it was also our first time to see the Water Park area. The group entered at around 4pm. A staff member assisted us, put our belongings to a cart and ushered us to our rented cottage -- Bohol 1 and 2. Unfortunately, the clubhouses closes at 6pm for clean up and maintenance so we had to hurry up so we could still use the pool.

Even though we had to squeeze in everything in a just couple of hours, we still managed to enjoy but was not able to try out all the interconnecting pool -- white sand Beach Pool with two (2) water slides, Lap Pool with submerged sun loungers and relaxing water jets, Activity Game Pool with water jets, Spa Pool with four (4) Massage Beds, Party Pool with sunken Pool Bar and bubble jets, Fountain Pool, and Children’s Pool with bubble.

Obviously, I was impressed with the white sand beach pool and took pixies on it wearing the pink kimono I bought from Boracay last Feb.

Anyhow, thanks to Pres. Cookie, Ma'am Goi, Sir Ding, Ivan and the rest of the CCPI members for the warm welcome in my first Chevy EB.

With the abundance of the info in the internet nowadays, it so easy to opt for a do-it-yourself tour. But if you are the type of traveller who don't like to spend time navigating on your own and want insights from the local just like us, you would still probably book through a trusted travel agency.

What is unique about the Our Restless Feet Travel and Tours is that the owners themselves are young and well-traveled married couple... meet Charlie and Paula (Peralejo) Fernandez.

Charlie & Paula, Pre-Nup Shoot by MangoRed

Well, if you think the wife looks familiar it is because she has grace Philippine TV Screen back in the 90s together with lot of budding teenagers saying "Nyeh!" every 4:30 pm in the afternoon with the show called Ang TV then later became one of the leads in our version of Dawson's Creek which was Tabing Ilog.

Fast forward today, the couple manages their travel agency from their home office in San Juan Manila. This is my 2nd time to get a quotation from them. The first was last year for HK while they were still putting up their agency's website however I decided to go with another offer from other agency.

But this time, I kinda knew what to expect from their price range. My default budget is always Php 5,000/pax. Paula replied back on the same day regarding my inquiry providing price range between Php 6,000 to 6,500 per pax for the Kuala Lumpur Malaysia at a Glance package (accommodation and land arrangements only). Most offers I got for the same inquiry from others are for Half Day City Tour alone but from Our Restless Feet Paula, theirs already includes two -- City Tour and Countryside Tour which is around 4 hours each, perfect fit for Day 2.  So even though it was a thousand bucks over my original budget, I decided to take her offer. Besides, I booked as early as May for our December trip so by faith makakapag-ipon pa within the next 6-7 months.

The booking and payment transaction through bank deposit went smoothly. I got my Itinerary and Receipt via email and was all set just waiting for our 17th (12 yrs bf/gf + 5 yrs wedding) anniversary celebration in Malaysia.

Excited na ko!!!
