When I saw them in Patty Laurel's old blog a few years ago, I knew I'm destined to have one! But in some twist of fate, I never got to own a Suelas until January of this year. The first pair was slightly bigger than my feet so I ordered half size smaller the next payday... and the next... and the next. Here is the proof on my growing fondness of this one comfy foldable flats.
I love it so much that I decided that this year I would give it out as birthday gifts to my girlfriends. I am so kilig that I got to share this with the ladies whom I consider as my sisters. They all deserve some sole treat. And I just thank the Lord for the financial provision that He bless me with that I am able to give generously. But moreso, thank you God for giving me women that I could love and share this earthly life -- from being kikay to our growing faith in You. Let us honor you with our friendship. This one is for Maybel.

P.S: Nakakatawa yung unang attempt ko to send a pair to the soon-to-be mom, Jamie, last month... Their office receptionist gave it to the wrong person but silver lining to the story: it proved how the Suelas Team together with their courier, Xend, handled it so graciously by sending us a 2nd pair of the same style until we have learned what happened to the first one then we were able to finally return the extra pair.
I'll be updating this post every now and then to show my collection.

Last Easter, Judah Paolo shared his God-given talent of the spoken word to each of the services we have at Victory Fort. There is power in the spoken word, there is power in the name of Christ. Just watch the video below and hear about the 'Word'... Tetelestai (it is finished)!
Victory Fort Saturday Easter Service 4pm
On a more personal note:
Well as much as I am starstruck with the celebrities in our home church, I try to contain myself not to ask to have pictures with them. No offense though to those who do it, that is just me, my stand on this matter...my mindset is that I want to respect their time -- they are there to worship the Lord just like the rest of the believers. We are all equal here anyway in the family of Christ so if time comes that I get to fellowship with them then probably that will be the time that I would have my pictures taken with them. And I am blessed that I have had some close encounter with a handful of them:
More than their stardom, I am at awe with their testimonies like Yeng Constantino, Kate Torralba, Jose 'Quest' Villanueva, Jacque Oda who offered their talents in the benefit gig 'Because Love' which Maika (my One2One discipler) invited me to be part of. Danica Sotto-Pingris was our teacher during my Victory Weekend. I got to thank her personally on how she inspired me and how much blessed I am watching her 'Be One' Video.
Also, another 'Be One' Video that I was really touched with was Judah Paolo's. So, it was a delight shooting him onstage during the Saturday Service. I was already happy when he and his wife, Earl (who was my batchmate in T4V class) sent their thank yous in FB when I shared his picture. So I had no plans whatsoever to make a big deal out of it until we bumped into our good friend, Gutch (hubby's One2One discipler), who was with him after the Leader's Development class. Still, a bit shy but somehow the Holy Spirit spoke to me to just simply introduce myself. Thus, this picture *giggles* :
This happened right after the boys came out from the Spritual Gifts (prophesy) class so right there and then hubby Jason, Gutchie, and Judah prayed for me. In that prayer he spoke about something 'big' for me and never in my mind that I thought I would be wanting for with regards to our latest assignment from the Lord which is to take on photography. We were just simply praying for a few add ons to our very basic Nikon D3100 since we are doing a budget wedding to a fellow churchmate this May for FREE! Truly, if the Lord spoke through Judah -- God will be done!
A blessing indeed. All the glory and honor is the Lord's!

We had planned to go to Tagaytay today but to where exactly...that we didn't know. Dad-in-Law (DIL) had to work today despite the holidays so it was just me, hubby and Mom-in-Law (MIL) . We decided to bring her to the private Sonya's Garden. I texted a few friends of mine to ask about direction and reservation. We weren't also sure if it was opened considering that today is a religious holiday but we pushed through anyway. It would be MIL's first time, so she shriek when we told her about our chosen destination. We were in the car when she learned exactly where we were going.
On the way though, volume of cars started to build up from the Tagaytay Proper (rotonda) so we decided to have lunch elsewhere instead of dining at Sonya's. After lunch at LMZ Restaurant, in front of Starbucks and Leslie's, we continued driving to Alfonso, Cavite. Soon after we found Buck Estate and saw the Sonya's sign board.
It would have been the full experience if we had lunch there but just the same the smell of the bread in the Panaderia, the colorful flowers, the simplicity and elegance of the place is such a warm welcome to busy people like ourselves. It is not open to the public though, only to the patrons of the B&B, spa and the stores. So we just bought something after taking a stroll.
